1. Agreement

By using MoodMatch you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18. We may suspend accounts that appear to belong to minors.

3. Account & security

Keep your credentials secure and information accurate. Notify us at support@getmoodmatch.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use & prohibited content

To keep MoodMatch safe, you must not post, share, send, stream, or display content (including photos, video, audio, profile text, chat messages, stories, daily thoughts, and vibe-room posts) that:

shows or describes nudity, sexual activity, or sexually explicit material;
shows real-world, graphic violence (gore, severe injury, or abuse of people or animals) outside a clearly newsworthy or educational context;
sexualizes, endangers, or depicts minors in any way — we report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to authorities and permanently remove the account;
harasses, threatens, bullies, doxes, stalks, or impersonates anyone;
promotes hate or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or similar protected characteristics;
promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
solicits paid sexual services, escorting, or sex trafficking;
sells or promotes weapons, illegal drugs, or other illegal goods or services;
is spam, scams, phishing, or malware, or attempts to scrape, reverse engineer, or hack the service beyond what the law allows;
infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights of others;
misrepresents your identity or age, or otherwise violates applicable law.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts for any breach, with or without notice, and we cooperate with authorities where appropriate.

5. User content

You keep your rights to your content. You grant us a licence to host and use it as needed to run, moderate, and improve the service.

6. Reporting, blocking & moderation

Every profile, message, story, daily thought, and vibe-room post can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked. We review reports and act on objectionable content (typically within 24 hours). Repeat or severe violations result in permanent bans. For urgent safety issues, email support@getmoodmatch.com. We provide these tools but do not pre-screen all content and are not responsible for offline meetings — please use good judgment.

7. Subscriptions

Paid features may be sold via Apple or Google; their terms and your store account govern billing, renewal, and cancellation.

8. Third parties

Third-party services (e.g. Firebase, app stores) have their own terms and policies.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim or EUR 50, except where the law does not allow limits.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content or misuse of the service, where the law allows.

12. Termination

You may stop using MoodMatch anytime. We may suspend or terminate for breach, risk, or legal reasons. Data handling after deletion is in our Privacy Policy.

13. Law & courts

Governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Courts in the Czech Republic have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer laws in your country say otherwise.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version and date; material changes may be shown in the app or by email.
